I have been busy as you can see from some of the jewelry pieces I have posted here. I have always found this blog fairly difficult to deal with - whatever the editor is, the finer points of how to get images in the right place, even get the fonts the right size and colour usually escapes me. Howver, I did decide to post a few things here - even though it has been forever - because I know that there are a few of you who still check this blog or stumble across it every now and then.
So here is what I've been doing lately - while preparing for a trip and trying to undo the havoc from going on the last one! First, just one of the newer <a title="Labradrite Jewelry" href="http://www.clunygreyjewelry.com/Labradorite-jewelry.html">labrdorite bracelets</a> on the <a title="Cluny Grey Jewelry" href="http://www.clunygreyjewelry.com/">Cluny Grey Jewelry</a> website. The three strands of labradorite, with a little taste of aquamarine, really flash! I also have a newer one with two strands as well - both with very good, flashy labradorite. After the labradorite (if the image is still there) is an amethyst bracelet with a second strand of gem quality amethysts, little faceted rondelles that really sparkle! I got so caught up with the amethysts, that I made an amethyst necklace as well and finally used the Karen Hill Tribes sterling silver orchid pendant that I've been saving because I like it so much. It was easier for me to use it since I've recently gotten a lot of new pendants - mostly gemstone - and what gemstones! Stay tuned!

The tourmaline bracelet is a new favorite and has started me on a search for great tourmaline - which is hard to find in bead form without being outrageously expensive. The lampwork beads (three of them) are from the wonderful beadmaker Jelveh, the only beads I've ever been lucky enough to get. 
More opals for October: this time pink Peruvian opals made with great pink opals and sterling chain.

Carnelian and fire agate are great paired together in this charm necklace that looks like a lariat almost (it isn't). Three gemstone charms, one in the shape of a turtle, one a fish, and one a teardrop, are joined by a vermeil disk. This necklace is truly caliente!
In the blue family are an amazonite bracelet with great lampwork beads (above) and below, a wonderful dragonfly lampwork and apatite bangle in sterling silver. The apatite bracelet features faceted apatite coins that are one of the newest colours this Fall - called Stargazer. In the middle is a bracelet made of ocean jasper and sterling silver charms from the Thai Karen Hill Tribes.
